Michelle David is born in North carolina and raised in New York. From four years old she was singing in the church choir and after one year she was in her first gospel group ‘The mission of love’.
At Funked Up we can find Michelle together with the True-tones! These are the guys from Beans & Fatback and The Lefties Soul Connection. Together they have been playing on some the biggest festivals and venues through Europe. You can imagine we are honoured they are here with us on the 27th, setting Leiden on fire!

Power to the Pipo will bring a crazy cocktail of rare grooves and explosive solo’s! RAW, energetic and all funkf is how they will get the party started! Power to the Pipo has been playing at Funked Up before so we know for sure they will bring an amazing energy to our party! Happy they are here to close the year!

We love Funky Times! This band from Germany knows how to make things funky. It all starts with their 80’s look and smiling faces but there is more than that. These German Funkers are completely up and coming and so we’re really happy they are coming over to the Netherlands, especially for us! Check their Instagram account to get in the mood. We are sure you will immediately get your tickets as soon as you have heard them so we see you on the 27th if you hit that YouTube play button!

This Dutch group from Rotterdam will bring you a new sound combining neo-soul and hip-hop. They use soundscapes, old-school samples, and modern electronics together with the mesmerizing voice of Danique van der Vlugt. Check their socials and videos on YouTube to see what you will get!

SILENT DISCO XL STRIK & STRAK AND DJ RAFIKI!
For this Funked Up XL edition we thought to expand our Silent Disco night as well. If you have been to Funked Up before, you know Strik & Strak will get everybody pumped and singing! This time they are joining forces with DJ Rafiki to get some extra African swing in the room! With three silent disco channels we are sure this part will get lit!

TIJDEN: Wij vonden zelf dat wat vroeger beginnen in tijden van Corona wel lekker dus die 20:00 beginnen die houden we erin! Verder mogen we deze avond ouderwets tot 02:00 door!
TICKETS: Mocht je al een ticket hebben gekocht en komen er onverwachts nieuwe negatieve Corona maatregelen waardoor het event niet door kan gaan, dan storten we direct het geld terug! Alleen de fee van de ticketboer kunnen we niet vergoeden zijnde €0,61.
ENTREE: Er komen bij ons niet meer dan 500 bezoekers in dus op dit moment hoef je helemaal niets aan QR codes of testbewijzen te laten zien aan de deur, behalve dan je Funked Up ticket, YES! Houdt onze website en socials in de gaten mochten er toch onverwachts nieuwe maatregelen komen.
